Spiritual Success !
November 25th 2010 17:02
“He who fails to plan, plans to fail” is a common proverb to all of us, but how many of us take time to plan? Thomas Alva Edison, the most famous American Inventor said “Good fortune is what happens when opportunity meets with planning”.
One of the most contemplated aspects of our lives is the spiritual faculty of our being; we tend to focus on it albeit every end of the year or the beginning of the year, we make resolution on how we can develop spiritually and have that good relationship with GOD
Making a spiritual plan is a guaranteed first step towards spiritual success, how do we then make a spiritual plan?
To make a spiritual plan, you need to ask yourself the following questions;
Who am I?
Reflect for a moment, who are you, what are you, how are you, where are you, why are you
Where am I coming from, and where am I headed to?
Ponder on your past life, the highs and the lows, the failures and the success, the challenges and the overcoming. Then meditate on where you are heading to, what you want to achieve
What is my actual position with God?
Do you feel you are close to God or far from Him, how frequent do you talk to Him in prayer, how much works of charity do you do?
What has been my ever favorite moment?
What is that one moment that you felt God was by your side literally?
Where do I feel attracted to serve God?
Reflect on your calling to serve God, what is your career and how shall you serve God through your career
What needs to be done?
The points of consideration, what is that you need to stop doing or start doing, what is that you need to continue doing but more frequently?
What is my line of action?
“A real decision is measured by the fact that you've taken a new action. If there's no action, you haven't truly decided” Tony Robbins. So what’s your line of action
There you go, you got yourself a spiritual plan. Move ahead, bold and confident, take every step in obedience
