Recipe For Success !
November 30th 2010 15:03
All business gurus and wizards and motivational speakers have something in common. There first advice at any given time is to dream and then wake up and do something about the dream. As the Jew proverb goes “if you want your dreams to come true, you must first wake up!” This waking up is what the business consultants will name it as “a call to action”
As Christopher Morley puts it “There are three ingredients in the good life: learning, earning and yearning." There from I present to you my recipe for success:
Ingredients:
* Learn
* Earn
* Yearn
Directions:
#1 Make
To “make’ is both a call to action and a completion of the call to action. It’s not enough to just act, make it happen. To “make” is to have the outcome of your desire. To “make” is to have the output of your hard work. To “make” is to see the accomplishment although still accomplishing for a higher level achievement. You remember the common saying “Fake it until you make it?” it’s all about making it happen! Change the rules; it’s not always about following the protocol of believing in your-self first so as to make it happen. Surprise yourself, make it then believe that you made it perfectly well. Have you made it? Believe!
#2 Believe
Believing in oneself is having confidence in what one can “make”, having confidence in your ability, having confidence in your outputs or results, having confidence in your products. Believe in yourself. Be proud of yourself. If you did the best to have the results that you got believe that your achievements are the best. Believe that what you “make” is superior, the market leader. Believe in your efforts and in the outcome. After “making” believe that it is good
The recipe for success is so simple! Make then believe in what you made!
Looks like my recipe is in reverse order! But the output is delicious. So go on friend, Cook!
