The Successful Path - by Karanja-Raphael

Success's first law

August 3rd 2011 16:53

The importance of order In doing our work we need to establish priorities to enable us to not only succeed but also to do the right thing at the right time.
Prioritizing our resources from time to money is a great factor in determining our success in anything. This virtue is indispensable whenever we are faced with more than one task. It’s what keeps people on the successful path; it’s what makes people successful

Order does not only mean to follow a timetable or to put the tools where they are meant to be. It means a lot more….. It’s simply a formula for success

Where does order begin?

Order begins in the mind.

Order in the mind means to maintain a hierarchy of ideas starting with the most important to the less important. God, his plans and then our values…
We need to place order in our mind.

Before talking, doing anything etc we should think about it well.
We should also put order in our will. The desires of our heart need to be ordered well. God should come first and then his will followed by our values…
We should also put a more effort in loving the people who need our love more i.e. the people whose lives, body and soul are in danger.

There should also be order in the things we do.

Doing one thing at a time is very important. Start with what we ought to do not what we feel like doing.

Order also means that when charity calls for it, we can drop what we are doing to attend to the most urgent need.

All virtues are inter-linked. Virtue without order is a strange order.

Keep order and order will keep you.

The plan of life helps us to live order.

There should be time for God, for Friends, Culture, Hobbies, Sports, Family, Social life and rest. This in turn breeds success in our spiritual, physical and social life

In practice it is practically impossible to attain order without a plan of life.
Your plan of life should include at least; work, study, family obligations, relaxation and in a special way our spiritual life.

Plan of life does not lead to monotonous, or a routine. The person who follows his whims in the face of any action is the one who cannot do anything meaningful in life to its completion. In a certain sense they are the victims of their imagination.

To be successful you need to keep order

A Season of Success

A Season of Success
Success is a far as our knees

Fasting is a season of much grace and forgiveness. It’s a season that God offers us so much grace to draw ourselves closer to Him. It’s a season that God is so merciful to us. He calls out to us to move closer to Him, to seek success in our spiritual lives

Now, now, the Lord says, come back to me…

The importance of fasting is to derive our bodies the comfort of food, this awakens our spirit. When our spirit is awake, we draw more grace from God, we draw closer to Him, and we become more successful since our lives are nourished by His grace. The prayer success we seek or claim onto our lives is given to us lovingly and in full measure

When we are comfortable or successful, we tend to forget God since everything is working well for us, but when pain, suffering and uncomfortability sets in, we tend to search for God. We go back to the giver of success, the Provider, the restorer of hope and love. Fasting is one sure way of searching and finding God in our lives

Through fasting; God places Himself before us. He reaches forth to us to bless us with success. He forgives our sins and restores our hope. He teaches us the meaning of suffering and showers us with wisdom to learn from our experience. He blesses us with a spirit of fortitude to try that which we find hard or uncomfortable

There is no success without God. There is no true happiness without God. To find God is to find everything for He is all in whole. Success then comes from Him and is sustained by Him. The hope and courage to hold on is given by Him, the wisdom to discern the suffering of life is given by Him too.

Success is a far as our knees, let us go down on our knees and pray for it

Redefining Success !

Redefining Success
Success in Failure

There are many times in my life that I will fall again and again despite the help of friends and loved ones. Success entails realizing that my greatest moments were my weakest one. My greatest triumph was in failure. To travel the successful path means picking myself up, and turning the failures into success by trying again and again

I often judge by appearances and how wrong I am most of the time. The world judges entirely by this fraudulent method of discerning. It looks down upon those who apparently have given their best and are now in need. It judges the poor as failures, the sick as useless and the aged as a burden

Though, the world looks at the poor, the sick and the aged as unsuccessful, these people are apparently the most successful people in very many aspects of human living

Very few people have learnt the true meaning of suffering, very few people have accepted suffering as part of life. But the terminally sick patients have embraced suffering as part of their lives, they see beyond the pains, and successfully they have taken both their lives and faith to the next level

Similarly, very few people are contented with what they have in this life, yet the poor are amongst the people who acknowledge that what they have is sufficient for them, they struggle…yes… but when they have a meal a day they are thankful, successfully they have lined a contended

What about those who have given their best to the society and now are in need? Aren’t they successful really? How blind the world to judge this people as unsuccessful, how short is sighted is the world’s wisdom to neither perceive nor understand the meaning of success

Angeline Jolie said “In Africa, we were around thousands of people who have seen a lot of poverty, but they were fun at the end of the day”. How true this statement is

Success in Love

Success in Love
The one who turns to his friends and says, 'that's her.'”

A person in a successful relationship will ultimately sound the following sentiments; “Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep...wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you're just as pretty without makeup on. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky his is to have you.... The one who turns to his friends and says, 'that's her.'” That’s definitely success in love
